Dr. Ladora Thompson

Program in Physical Therapy, University of Minnesota
366 Children's Rehab Center

Director of the Program in Physical Therapy

University of Wisconsin, B.A. in Education, Marquette University, B.S. in Physical Therapy; Marquette University, Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Muscle Physiology).

Teaching Responsibilities:
Theory of Therapeutic Exercise; Biology of Aging, Exercise Physiology of the Elderly.

Research Interests:
The Thompson laboratory is focused on elucidating cellular and molecular mechanisms responsible for age and inactivity-induced muscle dysfunction.  Current investigations are focused on skeletal muscle protein expression, post-translational chemical modifications of key muscle proteins, and the role of antioxidants.
